Scoliosis Week was founded under the leadership of the Egyptian Scoliosis Society in 2016 with the vision of creating a specialized educational platform for spine surgeons, orthopedic professionals, and healthcare providers focused on spinal deformities, particularly scoliosis.

Since its inception, Scoliosis Week has evolved into a unique annual event blending scientific sessions, hands-on training, and live surgery broadcasts. It was created to address the growing need for regional spine education and to bridge the gap between theory and practice in scoliosis management.

With its growing success in Egypt, Scoliosis Week is now expanding its mission to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, launching a dedicated series of educational activities to support and connect the spine surgery community across borders.

We are a passionate and dynamic team under the umbrella of the Egyptian Scoliosis Society, consisting of leading spine surgeons, educators, and organizers committed to continuous professional development in scoliosis care.

Our committee includes experienced practitioners who curate world-class scientific programs, organize collaborative workshops, and bring together thought leaders in the field of spine surgery. Together, we work tirelessly to ensure Scoliosis Week remains a leading force in spine education in the MENA region.
